About Ivy
I am a dedicated Physics instructor with 10 years of teaching experience and a BA in Physics. My focus is on making complex ideas simple and meaningful for students at different levels. I specialise in particle physics and enjoy explaining the behaviour of subatomic particles in clear and engaging ways. My teaching approach in Physics is systematic, clear, and focused on deep understanding. I break down complex macroscopic behaviours into simple, logical steps so students can follow easily. Each topic is connected to real-world examples to make learning meaningful. I cover key areas such as thermodynamics, heat transfer, states of matter, gas laws, and energy systems. I also include concepts like kinetic theory, thermal equilibrium, calorimetry, and phase changes.
I enjoy working with experiments and practical setups to make abstract ideas more visible. Simple demonstrations and creative problem-solving techniques help students stay engaged. I guide students to think critically and not just memorise formulas. Regular practice questions and assignments are included to strengthen understanding.
