About Effy
I have a B.A. in Psychology from SFU and currently study math and physics, but most of what I bring comes from actually living.
I immigrated to Canada, got married and divorced, changed directions, went back to university, worked different jobs, and learned a LOT through trial and error.
I’m also a bartender, so honestly, talking to me is a little like talking to your bartender… because I literally am one.
I love EDM, fashion, psychology, comedy, DJing, travel and skateboarding, and I’m always looking for my next hobby. Surfing, aviation, motorcycling and skydiving are on the list.
I’m curious about people, open-minded, direct, and very non-judgmental.

My sessions are conversations, not lectures.
You can come to me with a problem, a big decision, a messy relationship, a career dilemma, or simply the feeling that you have no idea what you’re doing next.
We’ll talk it through, look at the situation from different angles, and turn the mess in your head into something clearer and more manageable.
I’m warm, curious, direct, and very non-judgmental. I’ll listen, ask questions, offer a different perspective, and tell you what I genuinely think when you want it.
Think of it as talking to a really good bartender, except you booked the bartender for an hour and now you have her full attention.
