Hi, I’m Mehnaz! Having achieved A*AA in my A-Levels, an A* in my EPQ, and all 8s and 9s in my GCSEs, I’m now a third-year Law student at the University of Leeds. With three years of formal tutoring experience, alongside additional experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting, I have developed a personalised and adaptable teaching style.
My approach to tutoring is dynamic and highly personalised. I adapt each lesson to the individual student’s strengths, areas for development, and learning style. I focus on building strong foundational understanding before moving on to exam technique and application, ensuring students feel secure in the core content first. I use active recall, practice questions, and structured exam-style tasks to reinforce learning and develop confidence.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although I can adjust the length depending on the student’s needs. Each session is structured but flexible: we review prior learning, introduce or consolidate key topics, and finish with targeted practice to ensure progress is measurable.
My lessons are suitable for primary school pupils and students studying up to GCSE level in English, Maths, and Science. I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are left feeling more confident in both their knowledge and exam skills.
