About Paul
I started my career in the world of finance in corporate banking where I worked in corporate lending. This provided me with a practical understanding of how financial markets operate and gave me an opportunity to put into practice what I had learned in university.
I then moved into income statement analysis where I was able to apply my numerical and analytical skills. It was in this role that I was able to see the impact of different areas on the bank's revenue.
I have now been teaching for over 10 years and have developed a methodology which gets the best out of students while keeping lessons interesting. I provide all the material, includiug slides, additional reading and sample questions.

I am an experiened college lecturer who has developed effective and interesting lessons based on relevant material with the aim of getting students the highest possible marks in exams.
I hold an MSc in Investment, Treasury and Banking. I spent a number of years working in the banking industry, initially in corporate banking before moving to income analysis.
I break down complex issues in finance and economics in order to make them easier for students to understand and apply what they have covered.
Lessons range from 1 to 2 hours, depending on student requirements.
I teach finance and economics to all college levels, from first to final year. I also provide classes to leaving cert economics students.
