About Asmita
I am a current finance student at the New York University Stern School of Business. Throughout high school, I took 15 AP courses, scored a 35/36 on ACT and 1570/1600 on SAT, and was involved in many clubs and extracurricular activites. Outside of school, I enjoy running, reading, and board games.

These lessons are mainly for middle schools and high schoolers looking for assistance or to get ahead with their coursework, as well as anyone who wants help with standardized testing preparation. However, I do also have experience working with preschool and elementary school students and would love to tutor younger students as well.
I think the best way to learn and improve is practice, so after teaching/reviewing fundamental concepts, I will provide various exercises and ways to apply knowledge from current and previous lessons. I can give worksheets or practice for students in-between lessons if preferred. As well, I will listen and adapt based on their method of learning and understand the way they solve problems in order to cater my lessons to advancing those approaches.
