About Drew
I am an able final year student currently studying Mechanical Engineering MEng, having graduated with a solid first in my bachelors degree. I have a passion for engineering and mathematics with a strong command of the English language. In additon, I have 2 years experience being tutored privately for maths and also experience tutoring in maths and mechanical engineering.
Brilliance in a subject starts early on, hence it is important to teach clearly and efficiently, to provide the confidence needed to succeed. I would be more than happy to assist with maths up to AS & A2, and mechanical engineering at a strong university level - including formal and design report writing.

Basing sessions on the fundamentals of the topic breaks down core concepts into simple and unique ways. My methods provide manageable chunks for you to gain valuable knowledge, allowing confidence to be built alongside the subject. A sense of achievement is felt moving forward in a subject, through setting SMART objectives (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-constrained).
Rapport is crucial in a teaching environment, therefore patience is key. I am not afraid to attempt different teaching techniques to make the lesson as accessible as possible. I look forward to seeing how you learn and adapting to what is best for you.
