About Emma

I have experience teaching both GCSE and A-Level English so I'm comfortable taking a curriculum approach designed to target whichever parts of the course you feel you're behind with. However, if you're looking for more English-language based study, we can also go through reading comprehension, grammar, or speaking-based activities together. Above all, I would tailor my lessons to your individual needs and desires. I am happy to teach anyone of any age, although my experience is primarily with children from 5-16 years old.

Emma and I go to university in St Andrews and volunteer together. She is very articulate, patient, has great social skills, and is wonderful with children.
I studied English alongside Emma at the University of Oxford. Emma was always the person I turned to when I failed to understand a topic, as she was able to explain things in both an approachable and interesting way. She was consistently brilliant in tutorial discussions and in providing me with useful feedback on essays.
