About Madlen

I am a First Class Classics graduate from the University of Manchester, and tutored throughout school. I think it’s really important to approach tasks from your own skillset, and this is something that I encourage in my teaching. My main priority is building confidence and resilience - I know how difficult it can be to find topics or lessons challenging.

About the lesson

I focus on learning through the pomodoro method - no more endless studying where you’re unsure what you’ve learnt and how to apply it! I provide recap notes and encourage individualised and customised learning as I believe that no two people learn in the same way, and mastering learning style is the key to academic progress. Typical length 1-2 hours, for students 11-18.
