About Jay
I was taught chess by my mother at 5 years old, and I never stopped playing. I love the game and love teaching it to others.
I've played in USCF rated tournaments, and maxed out at 1800+ rating on chess.com, but can coach above my rating. I was the Chess Coach at MLK HS in Nashville that came in 3rd in a State Tournament.
If you are 2000 rated and trying to get Masters and above, I would pass on me, but I can teach you or your child to play the game from beginning to expert level. I can coach above my rating, but I know my limits :)
