About Kayli
I love working one-on-one with students and have years of experience doing so.
I worked with college students as a Teaching Assistant in college for classes I did well in. I often worked one-on-one with students to improve their research, reading comprehension, and writing in those classes.
Once I graduated, I taught both English and history classes to middle schoolers. In my classes, we learned basic grammatical principles in a way that applied specifically their their writing. I am experienced in teaching multiple methods and genres of research, writing, and reading comprehension.

I love working one-on-one with students to understand their strengths and weaknesses, and then create lesson plans that work with their needs.
I specialize in helping students improve their English skills (whether that's writing, reading comprehension, poetry, etc.) through a lesson plan that moves through modeling, guided practice, and independent practice.
I work with students in 6-12 grade, as well as undergraduate college students majoring or taking classes in the humanities.
