About Amy
I have worked in education for over 18 years. I love being able to help my students grow and realize their full potential. Sometimes learning in a classroom can be hard;sitting for 30 minutes or longer ,teachers who only dicatet or only explain things THEIR way, too much different information getting thrown at you at once. school can be stressful. I had many difficulties as a child with my education .Which is why I choose to do what I do. From working in private schools, daycares, and respectable tutoring centers , I love creating a fun environment that helps my students with something that can be stressful.

As a tutor, before our official sessions begin I prefer to meet with my student to learn about what they perceive to be their strengths and weaknesses in the area we will work on. After our first meeting depending on what my students needs or wants are, I will conduct a simple assessment and begin our sessions . I will create a lesson structure unique to each individual to maximize our time together.Depending on what my students goal is along with my assessment I can give an estimated amount of sessions that they would require. I m also an Early Childhood Specialist (Infant-4 years old) and predominantly work with K-7 grade students. I can provide ACT/SAT/GED test prep as well.
