About Jon
I hold a PhD, and am a widely published author. I have taught in a range of different environments: k-12, community colleges, and both graduate and undergraduate university programs. I make it my responsibility to get to know my students, their interests, their strengths, and the areas that need improvement and tutor in the way that is most relevant for the student. While some have called me unorthodox, I would counter that they simply lack creativity. My results speak from themselves.

I am available to tutor in any k-12 subject are, and am especially useful for college prep work. My approach is student centered, meaning that my methods are based on the learning style and needs of my students. In my experience most students struggle due to the impersonal and generic approach that is present in public education. Every student is unique, and should be taught as such.
