About Kenneth
Hi. I have many years of experience as a university professor and consultant to businesses and government in Canada and the USA. I taught finance, economics, econometrics and many other business courses in face to face and online formats to undergraduate and graduate students. I appeared many times on national television networks (CNN, NBC, CBS) in relation to my research and on various business topics. I was directly involved in the updating of many finance, bank management, financial institution management and economics textbooks. I have very extensive experience tutoring individuals and small groups.

I found as a student that it was far easier to learn if I understood the underlying principles. I don't for example, think it has any value to teach people which buttons to press on a financial calculator to calculate present values if they don't understand what they are doing. Besides, calculators are basically obsolete. I prefer to make it easy to understand the underlying mathematics and then use a spreadsheet just as would be done in a real job. My teaching style is student driven. I work with the student to determine the optimal approach.
