About Alexis

I have been working in education for more than ten years.
I started to work in secondary school teaching languages and French (Rectorat de Strasbourg). I had the opportunity to give lessons in front of classes but also on private lessons and reinforcement (tutoring) in different schools. I am therefore used to teaching both in groups and individually.

I have also taught FLE and FLI (French as a Foreign Language / Integration) with adults and teenagers. I have taught in various private institutions (Alliance Française, Business School, Private Center) to a multicultural public. I adapt easily with the learners in front of me, I have had people who have just arrived in France and had not been in an educational system before. My experiences are not limited to France. I have had learners from many countries in France, online, but I also taught for 3 years in Tokyo in a language institute.
During these FLE experiences, I prepared students for different FLE exams (DELF, TCF, TEF, Français Pro, Futsuken, etc.) and so I can provide help for the preparation of these exams.

Professional trainer also for several years, TRE, methodology, internship, etc. I also know the professional world from other experiences outside the teaching world and can give advice on orientation, job skills, and many other things.

During all these years, I have been practicing homework help with a diverse public, high school students, new university students, allophones. We discussed work methodology and also help with homework, exams, etc.

With all these experiences and my knowledge of different pedagogies and methodologies, I am able to adapt to the students and I prepare an individual pedagogical progression adapted to their level, their expectations and their learning methods.

About the lesson

Certified teacher of FLE and languages (Master II University of Strasbourg, certification from different institutes such as CAVILAM, AF, etc.). I am an examiner for different French exams (DELF, TCF, TEF, etc.) so I can also prepare you for these different FLE exams. I have also participated in the Bac exams (French, English) so I am competent to help you in these areas.

I can also help with methodology (college, high school, university) and give work advice. A rather down-to-earth person, I adapt to the learners, their difficulties and am available to develop an action plan that will correct weaknesses as effectively as possible.

While reinforcing students' skills and knowledge, I also give advice on the mindset to have and confidence for classes and exams.

Whether you are a beginner or advanced, this class is for you! With more than 10 years of teaching experience, I offer personalized French courses, adapted to your level, your needs and your objectives.
In this course, you will :
- Improve your oral and written comprehension
- Develop your oral and written expression skills
- Enrich your vocabulary and grammar
- Discover French culture and traditions
I offer dynamic and interactive courses, based on real-life situations, authentic texts and audiovisual material. We will work together on your difficulties and strengths to progress quickly and efficiently.

The course can be organized face to face (in person or online), according to your convenience. I am available on weekdays and weekends for 1 hour sessions. Rates start at 50€ euros per hour, depending on the length and frequency of the course.

I can use Skype, Teams, Zoom in addition to other tools. I am used to new technologies and I can guarantee you that there is no problem to do the courses online. It is often easier and more convenient for everyone. You will only need to have a webcam on your side because seeing the student is very important.
