About Ayshab

I want to become a tutor because I have always been passionate about education and supporting others in their learning journey. From my background in early childhood studies and my experience working as a nursery nurse and teaching assistant, I’ve seen firsthand the difference that personalised support can make for a learner. Tutoring allows me to use my skills and knowledge to help students grow in confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve their potential. I enjoy creating a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their understanding. For me, tutoring isn’t just about teaching a subject—it’s about inspiring curiosity, building self-belief, and fostering a love for learning that lasts well beyond the lesson.

I specialise in phonics, early literacy, and numeracy, helping young children build confidence and develop strong foundations in learning. As both an educator and a parent of three, I understand how to make lessons engaging, supportive, and fun. Experience 10+ years in nurseries and primary schools as a Teaching Assistant & Nursery Nurse Led small phonics groups and created lesson plans tailored to individual needs Ran my own childminding business for 3 years, supporting children’s development at home Fluent in English and Bengali, with experience supporting bilingual learners Subjects Offered Phonics & Early Literacy English (Primary) Maths (Primary) General Early Years Support Religious Education (Primary) Skills & Qualities ️ Phonics & early years education specialist ️ Strong communicator with parents and children ️ Patient, nurturing, and adaptable ️ Experienced in Zoom and online learning tools Availability Online tutoring via Zoom Weekday availability mainly Wednesday and Friday evenings after school Suitable for early years & primary-aged children
