About Daria

Hi! My name is Daria.

I am from Ukraine, but I have been living in Canada for 4 years. So, I have experience communicating with Canadians and multinational peoples.
It is very interesting to observe and learn a new culture and rules, just as it is interesting to learn Canadian English, with their idioms, words, and interesting slang. Therefore, I would like to help you in this interesting process of learning English.

My classes best suited for people who speak Ukrainian, as it will be easier for you to learn and for me to teach beginners, if we can always understand each other.

I am friendly and patient. I don’t judge students for their mistakes—I believe that in order to learn, it is important to make mistakes, as they help us improve ourselves.

I'm looking forward to meeting you in our classes.

About the lesson

I teach English as a second language to students from beginner to A2 level.

I specialize primarily in spoken English, so I will do my best to help you start speaking as soon as possible. However, my lessons will also include grammar, reading, and listening. We will watch videos, read texts, articles, answer various questions, and talk a lot. And of course, all these materials will be tailored to your English level and your needs, so if you have a specific area of English that you would like to work on, you can always let me know and we'll figure out what we can do to make your learning process as easy, comfortable, and effective as you need it to be.

I also run speaking clubs, that can be organized for you and your friends if you'd like to study together. Speaking clubs are for students from beginner to B1 level. These are the classes where we will mostly focus on speaking and discussing different topics.

I know how challenging it can be to learn a new language and especially to start this process, so I'd like to help you through this.

Price for the speaking club: 18$ per hour (1 student)
35$ per hour (2 students)
50$ per hour (3 students)
More students can be present during speaking clubs if needed. The price will vary depending on this.
