About Maicey
I am a friendly, patient and approachable person who genuinely enjoys helping others learn. I want to make tutoring a positive and comfortable experience where students feel able to ask questions and work at their own pace. I am aware of the different needs of students with SEND and understand that some learners may require additional patience, encouragement or adjustments. I am happy to adapt my teaching style and provide extra support where needed, ensuring every student feels comfortable, valued and confident in their learning.

I offer friendly, supportive and personalised English lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs. As an A Level English student, I understand the challenges students can face and aim to make lessons engaging, relaxed and enjoyable. I can support students with GCSE English Language and English Literature, including exam preparation, essay writing, creative writing, reading comprehension, analysing texts and developing strong exam techniques. Lessons can be adapted to focus on specific topics or areas where you need extra support, helping students build confidence and achieve their goals. I achieved Grade 7’s in both GCSE English language and literature and I am currently studying A level English language where I am predicted an A*. Lessons would typically be 1 hour long.
