About Anna
I am a language graduate with a BA Joint Hons 2:1 in French and Portuguese so I understand how challenging it is to learn a new language. You don't need to feel nervous about making mistakes during our classes because I've been in your shoes!
I have been gaining experience in teaching English for the last 8 years and have taught in both voluntary and paid roles throughout the world. My students come from a variety of cultures and ages ranging from primary school children, high school teens to adults. I love teaching English so much that I have recently decided to pursue a CELTA qualification through the University of Cambridge to further build on my teaching skills. This qualification ensures that our lessons are as productive as possible in helping you achieve your goals. For further information on my experience, please see my CV below.
Whilst qualifications and knowledge are vital for a tutor, they're not the only thing I can bring to our lessons. I am patient, great at listening and will put you at ease with my friendly and chatty nature so be assured that our lessons will be fun and enjoyable!

Learning a language isn't just about reciting grammar rules, it's about experiencing a new culture and using that to help motivate you on your language journey! So in my lessons, I combine well-known British texts, songs and clips from English TV series or films and use these to work on the areas you struggle with.
Regardless if you're a complete beginner or advanced, my aim is to build your confidence and ability in all areas of the English language whether that be in listening, speaking, writing or reading. - Learn together and save together! Learn with a friend and classes will cost £15 per person.
- Rates are the same for all level of learner.
- Cancellation policy is at least 24 hours. If class is cancelled less than 24 hours before class, 50% of lesson fee will be charged due to time already spent on lesson planning.
