About Jasmine
I'm a Year 13 student at Epsom Girls' Grammar School in Auckland, studying NCEA Level 3 English, History and Geography, with Scholarship in all three. I've earned Excellences and Merits in English and History, so I know what it takes to do well and where students tend to lose marks. I'm fluent in English and Malay, and I enjoy writing and debating, which helps me explain ideas clearly. I want to teach because I like seeing a student's confidence grow once something finally clicks.

Lessons are flexible, so we can work out a length and rhythm that suits you. We'll start by figuring out how you learn best, whether that's planning essays, practising with past papers, flashcards or talking ideas through, then build a plan from there. For NCEA students, I focus on clear arguments, precise evidence and writing well under time pressure. I also teach younger children, and with them I keep things patient, playful and encouraging, building reading and writing confidence one step at a time. I'll give honest, specific feedback and set goals we can track, so you can see your progress.
