About Jeric
Hello! I’m Jeric. I'm an editor and creative professional who helps students improve their fluency in English without stress or complication. With 10+ years experience working in literature, art, food, and design, I help students build clear, confident, and natural English. I love language and I'm passionate about teaching! Whether you want practice in conversational English, studying for exams, or preparing for an important presentation for work, our lessons together will be welcoming and fun! What we practice together will always fit your real life and goals.
I recently completed my 190-hour Level 5 TEFL Certification through the International TEFL Academy (Feb. 2026).
My background is in writing and communication, which means I focus on how English actually works in context: tone, rhythm, nuance, and intention. Whether you want to improve conversation, professional writing, creative expression, or reading comprehension, I tailor lessons to how you think and what you care about. I have a Master of Fine Arts degree in English Creative Writing from Pacific Lutheran University, where I graduated with a Certificate in Pedagogy (Teaching). Before that, I studied Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of Washington.
