About Fiona
I'm Fiona, a native English speaker from South Africa with over five years of teaching experience and a genuine passion for helping people find their voice in a new language. Outside the classroom, you'll find me travelling, exploring nature, cooking, or curled up with a good book, and I love bringing that same curiosity and warmth into my lessons.

I hold a TEFL/TESOL certification, and I bring both formal training and real-world business experience to my teaching. Before moving into tutoring, I worked in professional business environments where clear communication was essential. I know firsthand what it takes to sound confident and capable in a professional setting.
My teaching methodology is conversational and student-led: you do most of the talking. I tailor every lesson to your goals and pace, adapting to your needs.

Fiona has shown genuine concern and interest in me. I also like that she puts thought into which lessons she plans for me, they are always relevant, interesting and exactly what I need. I'm more confident and fluent now. Great teacher!
