About Carys
Hello! My name is Carys. I am a fully qualified teacher with a passion for empowering students and equipping them with the skills they need to succeed. I am currently based in South Wales.
I hold a First-Class degree in English Literature from Durham University. My teacher training was completed through Teach First program in 2020, which equipped me with innovative teaching strategies and a commitment to educational equity. Following my training, I have taught in schools in England and Wales, and continue to teach English in a secondary school today.
Beyond my professional career, I am an avid reader and a huge Taylor Swift fan.
