About Bethany
I love online teaching, as it allows me to work one-to-one with my students and be able to get to know them better. I recently completed the 420-hour TEFL certification for online learning. I love to read, write poetry (currently trying to publish my first book), and spend as much time as possible by the ocean. I am patient, kind, hard-working, and passionate about helping others in any way I can.

I like to foster an environment where the student feels comfortable and is able to be interactive throughout the class, rather than me doing all the talking. I try to tailor my lessons to fit the needs and preferences of the individual student. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I have an extensive background in healthcare as I am also a pediatric registered nurse. I prefer to teach children ages 4-12 or adolescents.
