About Miriam
I LOVE QUESTIONS! An English tutor for 15 years, I live in Philadelphia and have taught every grade. I have years of experience teaching English as a Second Language, Developmental English, Essay writing, poetry, and others. Currently teaching university students online, I have seen students achieve writing goals including acceptance to their university of choice, novella completion, and grade improvement. Patient, creative, fun, and friendly, I am an experienced teacher who meets students at their level and encourages them to find their voice. I motivate students to improve their grammar and writing strengths by focusing on their interests. While enjoying the content, students will make excellent progress in the mechanics of writing, the necessary parts of an essay, vocabulary selection as well as critical thinking skills. We'll work together to build on talents the student possesses and then continue to advance. Always uplifting and never harsh nor frustrated, I help students strengthen every writing skill.
