About Kate
I am a home educator and private tutor or many years standing. I have been giving private lessons for nearly 30 years. I have working in private and state schools. My students always achieve their desired outcomes.
I provide help with learning how to learn, organising learning, revision and study skills.
I teach all 3 science to GCSE and also Applied Science, Biology and Psychology to A level. I also tutor Maths to GCSE and Literacy to GCSE. I can also tutor adults wishing to do the Fundamentals of English and Maths Assessment for their PGCE.

I teach holistically and use practical and visual methods where ever possible. I tutor dyslexic and dyscalculic learners with fully multisensory approaches involving a lot of games.
I do exam focused teaching for the examination levels.
I also coach CogMed, a memory training programme which is internet based.
I am trained in delivering EasyRead and Touch Type Read and Spell. I mainly work with the Conquering Literacy Programme, I also use Nessy. As such I can match my teaching to what your child is doing at school.

Details
I do A level lessons at £40 per hour and GCSE at £35 per hour. Dyslexia and Dyscalculia lessons are £35 per hour, however KS3 where there is no indication of either dyslexia or any other SEND are £30
