About Elizabeth

Hello! I am Elizabeth, an English teacher. I hold a B.A. and M.A. in English and have over five years of teaching experience. I have worked with KS2–KS4 students, helping them strengthen their reading, writing, and analytical skills, with a strong focus on GCSE English Language and Literature exam preparation.

I am also a ghostwriter and editor with over 7 years of experience so when I am not teaching, you will find me bringing my clients' words to life.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is clear, structured, and supportive. I focus on helping students understand how English works so they can apply it confidently in exams. I break complex topics into simple steps and teach practical techniques for essay writing, text analysis, grammar, and exam questions. Each lesson includes a short review, focused teaching, guided practice, independent work, and detailed feedback so students always know how to improve.

Lessons are usually 40 to 60 minutes long, giving enough time for teaching, practice, and corrections.

My lessons are for KS2–KS3 students who need strong foundations and for GCSE and SAT students who want to improve their grades and confidence.

My teaching style is clear, structured, and supportive. I focus on helping students understand how English works so they can apply it confidently in exams. I break difficult topics into simple steps and give students practical strategies they can use straight away.

How I Teach

Each lesson follows a clear format:

For GCSE students, I focus strongly on exam techniques, essay structure, analysing texts, and time management. I teach students how to answer questions properly and meet examiner expectations.

My lessons are 40 to 60 minutes via Zoom and Google Meet. For students preparing for GCSE exams, longer sessions can be arranged if needed.

I have a B.A. and M.A. in English and over five years of teaching experience. I have worked with agencies to help KS2–KS4 students improve their grammar, writing, reading skills, and GCSE exam performance.
