About Marc
Hello! I am a licensed General Physician with a passion for helping students build better academic foundations. Having finished medical school and board exams taught me exactly what it takes to master difficult subjects such as discipline, structure, and focused repetition.
As a tutor, I take a traditional, no-nonsense approach to education. I provide clear, direct instruction and utilize exercises and practice methods to ensure my students achieve mastery and long-term retention. Whether you are a parent looking to help your child catch up in math and science, or a student preparing for exams, my goal is to maximize our time together and deliver measurable results. I expect hard work, and in return, I provide the highest standard of academic guidance.

Firstly, what sets me apart is that Standard ESL Teachers rarely grasp clinical scenarios, making a physician tutor essential for foreign practitioners, nurses or even my local doctors who want to go abroad. I have a great background in clinical role playing, case based language learning, and even charting and medical abbreviation.
Secondly, ,my teaching techniques are direct instruction, drills, practice tests, spaced repetition and moderately strict correction.
Thirdly, my lesson plan is standard. Starting the class with a review from the previous discussion, then lecture of the objectives for the day, guided repetition then assignment if needed for importance.
Lastly, I can cater medical practitioners, local doctors who cant to go abroad or even grade school, high school or college students who are having difficulty in their subjects.
