Having achieved 11 A*s (Grade 8 & 9) at GCSE, I feel that I am qualified to mentor students with Biology & Chemistry not only due to my academic expertise, but also due to my approach to teaching. My previous experience of mentoring students, both 1-to-1 and group tutoring at Kumon tuition centre, taught me the importance of tailoring learning to each student’s varying needs and requirements, above just understanding the specification material. I am committed to ensuring each student is not only achieving the minimum grade required for their desired field, but rather to excel and reach their full potential, while also enjoying learning and feeling comfortable to ask questions as and when they feel.
