About Shivani
I am a third-year architecture student at the University of Cambridge with a strong passion for both science, mathematics but also English, art and humanities subjects. I believe teaching is a skill that helps to enhance a child's educational growth and after 5 years of tutoring experience, I have been able to help children raise their grades dramatically. As a university student, I am very aware of the curriculum set by exam boards, as well as exam technique and therefore, I have up-to-date knowledge of techniques that allow for the highest grades possible.

My lessons work to enhance the concept in the students mind, allowing for them to fully understand techniques used in English literature and language, before then allowing them to apply what they have learnt in real practice questions. This is done by working together with the student to build their confidence, until they are ready to approach the questions alone. I then am able to mark the work and provide critical feedback out of the lesson time. The next lesson we will have a quick 10 minute recap of what was previously learnt in order to refresh the knowledge, before moving on to the next concept.
