About Jessica

I hold 15 years of experience doing childcare for early head start, pre-k, or elementary preparation. I am a 30-year plus Native English speaker. I am a 2-time spelling bee champion. I specialize in phonetics to help with pronunciation. I have done audiobook recordings for an electronic book and narration reading. I offer a flexible schedule of Sunday- Friday EST United States. Sundays can be from 12pm - 8pm. Monday- Friday can be from 3pm- 10 pm EST. My teaching style and personality I would like to demonstrate to my students a lot of patience, dedication, goodwill, and superior quality of requested services. I live on the Eastern Coast of the United States of America. I'm very into geography, and holidays and history. I also am into calendar planning. It would be my pleasure to impart that knowledge to anyone who would like to become familiar with United States facts.

About the lesson

I would like for my future students to know that I am a native English speaker who has helped several people get a better command of the English language in my personal and professional life. I would like to show the most amount of patience, dedication, kindness, and goodwill towards anyone looking to improve their English speaking, have their writings be proofread, or being read to. I deeply enjoy helping others succeed, because I see it as success for me as well. I am also into learning about the different cultures and languages for those looking to learn English as a second or third language. When it comes to reading, I'm a huge book person. I enjoy books from a span of non-fiction, to fiction, science, or a biography. If there is a book any student would like read and record to listen as an audiobook, I could provide that service. I lastly would like for my students to know as part of the lesson plan, I plan to go through the most up-to-date dictionary from beginning to end for novice English learners. Definitions will be used in sentences and phonetics will be pronounced. My lesson plan will consist of notecards and picture cards for engagement. I can go over written and write together as a team essays, letters, or documents. I can offer a reference recommendation for whichever need it is for. I plan to give stickers for encouragement.
