About Arthur
I hold a B.S. in Chemistry and a Master’s in Education, with teaching experience across four diverse schools and a strong background in tutoring. I currently design chemistry labs at NYU for undergraduate students, which gives me insight into what students need to thrive in high school and beyond. I use scaffolding, multimodal strategies, and Universal Design for Learning to tailor each session to the student’s needs and interests—making abstract chemical and math concepts easier to grasp, and learning more accessible and engaging

Back in high school, I used to have a tough time with chemistry and math. In fact, I almost failed! Through my own education classes in college, I learned how to study smarter, take tests better, and actually understand what questions were asking. Applying that to my own work ethics in chemistry helped me get to where I am now! Now I help students do the same—figuring out what’s tripping them up and how to improve. I also customize sessions around your interests, so learning feels less like a chore and more like something that actually clicks!
