About Nya
I am a 2021 graduate from Hampton University. As a student who struggled with ADHD growing up, I am extremely empathetic to the approach of meeting students at their needs instead of using one educational approach to aide in learning. I love working with children to help them improve their public speaking skills, communication confidence and finding their voice through writing.

I use a very empathetic and patient approach to tutoring. I allow students the room to express their academic frustrations and create a safe space for them to learn. I’m not looking to force them to learn and function academically like me, I am helping them build academic confidence and improving their skillset.
