About Carly
I have experience teaching students in different grade levels. I have taught students ranging from pre-school to the high school level. I have also worked in schools with students with special needs, therefore I have a diverse background on the different learning styles and accommodations of what students need to be successful. I also just graduated from Geneva College in May 2021, with my certification in secondary education (7th-12th grade). Before I decided to get my teaching license, I went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania for my BA in History (bachelors of arts) in May 2020. Education, and learning have also been a passion of mine, I believe with knowledge comes power and we can all learn from each other in some way.

I use a more student-centered based learning approach and keep my lessons very interactive, even with virtual/remote learning! I like to use a variety of tools and websites that will enhance student learning and experience. I also have experience teaching therefore I understand the importance of differentiated instructor and adapting lessons to certain students learning needs!
