About Claire
Hi! My name is Claire, and I have multiple years of experience as a Writing Tutor in a college setting. I am open to working with anyone at any stage of their writing process, and I'm excited to work with YOU! I graduated with a degree in Comparative Literature with minors in Literary Translation, Music, and Theater. I have experience in lots of different fields of writing, but I love writing about things like poetry and literature the most!

My sessions will be 1 hour long, and we can focus any topic you'd like: brainstorming, outline, grammar, syntax, main idea, organization, and more! We can totally use up to half the sessions for you to have some time writing on your own as well. My sessions are mostly conversation-based, and I will take notes on our conversation on a Google Doc that will be shared with you afterwards so that you can refer back to our conversation. I have two years of experience as a writing tutor in a collegiate setting, so you're in good hands with me! These lessons are for anyone who wants another perspective on their writing, even if they don't think of themselves as "good at writing." Anyone can write, and anyone has a valuable contribution to the conversation!
