About Chris

I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a double major in Legal Studies and Administration of Justice, while also completing a Certificate in Writing for the Professions. After my time at Pitt, I went on the graduate law school, earning my Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law. Throughout law school and after graduating, I worked for DCM Law Firm in Miami, Florida where I was a legal analyst for 5+ years, working on literally hundreds of different cases. I have experience in many different realms of law, as the cases I've worked on range from personal injury, wrongful death, contract law, constitutional law, property disputes, family law, divorce, and even being part of a team suing the NFL regarding traumatic brain injuries stemming from CTE.

About the lesson

What sets me apart from other tutors is my very outgoing and fun personality. I love engaging with others and helping them learn and pursue their dreams, so the genuine happiness I feel when teaching really fosters a relaxed and fun atmosphere with good vibes. Not to mention, I am filled with real world work and high level schooling experience and can explain exactly how and why what we're learning is necessary to being successful in college, law school, and work in the legal profession (as I have worked 5+ years as a Legal Analyst with the DCM Law Firm in Miami, Florida).

As for my teaching method, I combine a spaced repetition learning style that is the key to success in law school with a very fun and engaging personalized experience. The goal is to not only learn the material, but to help make you excited and genuinely desire to learn the material.

A typical lesson plan will begin with a basic overview of what we will plan to cover in our session, as well as a review of our takeaways from our previous session. Then you can expect us to work through the material at a personalized rate that will get the material to stick in the most efficient amount of time as possible without sacrificing the quality of retention. Finally we will review the work and set out what the next session will look to dive in to.
