About Eva

I have 2 degrees, both distinction, in Classics and Humanities. They have both reinforced a love of learning and sharing knowledge. I love teaching because it's an incredibly rewarding experience to help someone along their academic journey and see them improve. I believe a lot of subjects are imparted in more complicated ways than necessary, clouded by academic language, and I am passionate about creating lessons where complex topics are imparted in fun and comprehensible ways.

About the lesson

I believe in breaking down tough topics into digestible and engaging sessions. As such, I prefer to not go over 2 hrs maximum, so as to not overwhelm and ensure each session's content is understood well. I have tutored on and off for 2 years, mainly taking the approach of reinforcing content taught at school to ensure comprehension, as well as to work on writing skills for assignments. However, I am comfortable creating unique lesson plans as needed by students. My experience is predominantly year 10 and up, especially 6th form.
