About Alyssa
I am currently a freelancer with an MA in Literary Translation and BA in English Literature with Creative Writing. I freelance in tutoring, translation and editing.
I achieved the highest A-Level grades in my sixth form (A*A*AA) with exceptional essays and exam technique that I would love to apply in supporting students.
I further applied my knowledge and techniques throughout my degree, as sociological theory ties in very closely with literary, cultural and analytical theory.

To memorise something, you have to understand it. My aim is to ensure the pupil fully understands all the key terms, theories and policies in their level of sociology, so that they remember them, and are then able to apply them in an exam.
Flash cards, mind maps, and practice essays are among the study techniques I would implement.
I also intend to help with exam technique and give my advice and support on how to succeed as a student.
