About Rachel
Hello! My name is Chrismarie Rachel, but you can call me Teacher Rach. I am a fresh graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and I have always been passionate about helping children learn and grow.
Reading and writing are two of my favorite hobbies, and they have inspired my love for the English language. I also genuinely enjoy spending time with children. Since we have many kids in our family, teaching, guiding, and interacting with them has become a natural part of my daily life. These experiences have helped me develop patience, empathy, and the ability to explain lessons in a way that is easy for young learners to understand.
As your English tutor, my goal is to create a positive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment where every child feels comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. I believe that every student learns at their own pace, so I tailor my lessons to meet each child's individual needs and learning style.
Whether your child is just beginning their English journey or wants to improve their speaking, reading, writing, grammar, or vocabulary, I am here to support them every step of the way. Together, we will make learning English enjoyable, interactive, and meaningful.

My teaching approach is centered on creating a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves in English. I believe that every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to match each student's pace, learning needs, and interests. As an empathetic and understanding tutor, I encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes without fear, and build confidence through positive reinforcement.
I use interactive teaching techniques such as storytelling, picture prompts, games, role-playing, songs, and simple conversations to make learning enjoyable and effective. I also incorporate vocabulary-building activities, pronunciation practice, reading comprehension, and basic grammar exercises that are appropriate for the child's age and skill level.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of the previous topic, followed by an introduction to a new lesson through engaging activities. We then practice the new concepts through guided exercises, interactive speaking activities, and short reading or writing tasks. At the end of each session, I summarize the key points, provide constructive feedback, and assign simple practice activities when appropriate to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, empathy, and ability to connect with young learners. I strive to create a positive learning experience where students feel encouraged, motivated, and excited to learn English. My goal is not only to improve their language skills but also to help them develop confidence in communicating both inside and outside the classroom.
My lessons are designed for children between the ages of 6 and 12, including beginners and elementary-level learners. Whether a student needs help with schoolwork, wants to improve speaking and pronunciation, strengthen reading and writing skills, or simply build confidence in using English, I tailor each lesson to meet their individual goals and learning style.
