About Carlotta

I just graduated from my BA in International Relations and Chinese at SOAS University. I am passionate about studying and learning and I personally think that being a teacher is one of the toughest job because is not only about repeating what you know to your students but mainly about understanding them and their necessities, what they know and what they still don’t know but can learn for sure. I strongly believe that everyone can learn everything is just about finding the right teacher and the right method. We are not all the same and what May work for someone might not be the solution for someone else, is in the teacher’s ability to understand which method works better. I am totally open to suggestions and I will work as hard as I can to help my students.

About the lesson

In my personal experience learning a language has taught me a new way of thinking. In my three years of university I was able to get to know my professors and their preferences regarding essay writing, but also understood few basics that are in the end crucial to determine a first or a 2:1 essay. My lessons will not be based just on me talking about what I know but on understanding what my student’ needs are trying to focus on that. I am completely open to critics and suggestions in order to improve not only the quality of my lessons but also to make students feel as comfortable as possible during the lessons.
