About Joe
I am a young teacher passionate about not only teaching math but also really helping my students learn to enjoy problem solving. I try to get to know my students, find some common interests before launching into the material. I also coach basketball and love playing all types of sports.

I use the I do, we do, you do approach. Typically, I try to introduce a topic and go over the main concepts. Then I'll help my students through a couple problems, asking them questions as we go along. Finally it's time for them to get some practice solving problems on their own. We always check afterwards and review problems for any potential mistakes.
