About Sydney
I was a substitute teacher for one year and during that year I had a three month assignment as an ELL teacher. I had groups from 1st-5th grade. In this three month period I build lessons to help students in their English language learning. I am also in a teaching credential program. I am currently in a course that solely talks about ELL students and how to instruct and teach these students.

We will do activites with reading comprehension. For example we will read different books and do activities afterword regarding the book. Students will learn vocabulary and sentence structure. We will also practice speaking by talking about what we’ve read. We will also watch academic videos and discuss and write about what we have seen. This will help with listening comprehension and writing skills.
