About Meenah
Meenah Nehme is a dynamic visual artist whose work seamlessly integrates movement, performance, and technology. At just 21, she has already performed on stages such as Radio City Music Hall, performing Andrea Miller’s "SAMA," and Skirball, where she featured in Mikee Ellis’ "A Moment Between Breaths." Her collaborations include working closely with Matt Luck on projects like "x2" and Chelsea Thedinga's "Swan Song," both filmed in Los Angeles. In New York, Meenah has delved deeper into the fusion of dance and technology. She contributed to Yilin Zhang and Derek Chan's project "Impermanence," utilizing motion capture and volumetric capture. A key influence in her artistic journey is wild artist cari ann shim sham, who has been a guiding mentor in her creative technology and choreographic endeavors. Meenah has showcased her technical prowess in stop-motion animation, live feed cameras, film, and innovative projections through her pieces "Edd," "A Thought Loop," and "Industrial Form." With her passion for innovation and collaboration, Meenah continues to explore new horizons in the arts, always eager to connect with others who share her vision.
