About Hilda
I taught for 21 years. My first student was my grandmother. I decided I wanted to be a teacher when I learned she was illiterate. Ever since then I’ve dedicated my life to educating others either through working as a teacher, volunteering, or engaging with my community.

I cater to the needs of my students using a multi modality approach. I appeal to the kinesthetic, total physical response, musical, and visual, approaches. I follow my students’s pace, yet still challenge them in order to keep them engaged.
