About Paige
As someone who was not strong in math and science, I was always afraid to be randomly called on in class because I did not want to be laughed at by my classmates if I got the answer wrong. I always thought that if you needed help from a tutor, you were dumb, so I relied on guessing the correct answers. It is more than okay to get extra help! Tutors are there to help you improve in all your subject areas, especially the ones you struggle in.

My dream job was to be an elementary school teacher, so I am familiar with those grade levels, but I prefer working one-on-one with students to better help them with what exactly they are struggling in under which subject. I can give them all of my attention so they feel important. As a person who was afraid to ask questions in grade school when unsure about an assignment, I want to help these students better gain their confidence in not being able to ask for help instead of "fake it till you make it" and hope to get a passing grade.
