About Nate
I'm Nate and I'm currently a senior at James Madison University in Virginia, majoring in History and Secondary Education. After I graduate my goal is to become a high school history teacher and eventually work for a university. History and geography have always been my favorite subjects in school and my goal as a future history teacher is to share my passion about history with others. I believe history is a very important subject because if there were no history classes in the future, people like you and me would be forgotten. We are living through history right now and we have the power to change its course, and I think that's a very powerful thing that history teachers often forget the importance of.

Need help with a tough history paper? Stumped in your US history or geography classes? I've got your back.
Show me your points of confusion and I can walk you through using my experienced knowledge of history, OR we can create learning goals together and I can give brief weekly lessons on eras or events in history that you need help understanding. Generally, I'm pretty flexible when it comes to styles of teaching, so I'll be comfortable with however you want me to teach.
I'm much more experienced with high school students and topics such as US history, contemporary history and geography, however I'm open to teach other ages!
