About Zita

I have been teaching both harp and piano for more than 10 years and apart from my Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees, both from the Royal Academy of Music, I also have a degree specialising in teaching the harp, from the same university.

I enjoy teaching music to students as it is something that has always brought me joy. I've played the harp and piano since I was 8 years old and I loved it and still do!

Music education is such an important part of growing up and such a great hobby if you are an adult learning, so I would love to help more people have this skill.

About the lesson

My lessons typically include technical work, exercises to strengthen technique or work on specific abilities, work on pieces, to include any music theory related to them and a bit of sight reading at the end.
Depending on each student's goals, we can focus on getting through Grade Exams or simply getting to a level where the student is comfortable playing pieces they enjoy.
Any levels are welcome, beginners or not, children or adults.
