About Ranad
I am a Research Associate at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard working in cancer research. I graduated majoring in Biology and minoring in chemistry. I have a strong foundation in both since I have taken many graduate level Chemistry courses. I currently have 3-year research experience in Organic chemistry synthesis and a year of research experience in Cancer Biology. I have tutored students for many years as groups and individual sessions. Many of my students went from struggling to pass an exam to straight A's in science. I know Chemistry or Biology can be difficult to understand but with the right learning methods, it is very enjoyable.

There's an art in communicating science in a way that the student does not only understand the subject but can build on the knowledge obtained. I find a visual representation and working through each problem with the student is a useful method to teach science.
