About Chris
Hi, my name is Chris and here is a little about myself. I have always had a strong passion for music, which I have not taken to a practical level until recently. My background is in construction and veterinary nursing, and though both were interesting occupations, I have always had an unfulfilled desire to teach music. I have completed a certificate 3 and 4 in music performance and am presently studying at a diploma level with a view to a music degree at university. I achieved a Ginette Smith award last year for being encouraging towards other students and having a high level of enthusiasm. I currently teach at two primary schools and have my own private students and cater from beginner to intermediate skill levels. I do believe I have found my niche in life and love seeing the joy in my students after they have learned something new.

I try to keep my lessons reasonably basic until I ascertain my students' skill levels. From that point, I can then decide how to approach music theory and playing ability. I've always found that being a patient listener is the most important tool in a teacher's toolbox, as well as a sharp sense of a student's confidence.

As a music teacher myself And operating a successful N.S.W business for 15 years. Chris taught me when we were young. Chris is an influential guitarist and would be a great teacher to any genre of students.
It would be my great pleasure to recommend Chris as a guitar teacher! I know without a doubt that he would be sincerely supportive, encouraging and skilled in his capacity to help and instruct.
I've had the pleasure to call Chris a good friend since around 2009, having shared a mutual interest in music and Guitar. While we've jammed a number of times together, Chris's passion for learning his instrument and developing his technique goes far beyond mine and I knew early on that he wanted to make it a major part of his life.
Chris is a very easy going and understanding person and has a genuine interest in helping others. He also has a giant fondness and dedication to animals which also shows the type of character he has.
As a teacher, I know Chris would be extremely patient and caring, supportive and enthusiastic for his student's progress and I couldn't recommend him highly enough.
He has a genuine love for music and the Guitar but also a very kind and giving nature.
I’ve known Chris since we were in primary school, and after all these years I am grateful to still call him a friend.
Chris has always been passionate about music and the guitar, and about inspiring that passion in others. He gave me my first AC/DC record on my fourteenth birthday, which I still have and which opened up a whole new musical world for me at that time.
I got to jam with Chris a while back, he is a great guitar player and a natural teacher, intuitively knowing when to push and when to encourage with praise. I would recommend him to anyone! He has always had a love of music and will play guitar when ever he has then chance. He has a passion for music its not just a job or way to make money
