About Avanya
I’m a recent A-level graduate with a deep love for English Literature and a passion for sharing that love with others. Having just completed my studies, I’m well-acquainted with the challenges and rewards of tackling complex texts, essays, and exams. In my English Literature and Creative Writing tutoring sessions, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to your individual needs. My approach combines interactive discussions, close reading of texts, and practical writing exercises to deepen your understanding and enhance your skills and a focus on contextual information of texts to ensure a deep understanding.
Teaching Methodology: I use a mix of analytical and creative techniques, encouraging critical thinking while also fostering your unique writing voice. Lessons are dynamic, with a focus on active participation, whether we’re dissecting a complex literary work or developing a creative piece as well as exploring the context of pieces and the drive of the writer.
Lesson Length: Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, providing ample time to cover material in depth while maintaining focus and energy.
