About Joseph
Hey I'm Joseph, I'm a freshman at NC State studying physics and philosophy! I've always been big into the academics and had a passion for teaching, and I've been particularly good at teaching mathematics! I've been tutoring since 2018 and never had a student that couldn't be taught something with enough patience and reinforcement. Although I'm studying Physics, mathematics is woven in throughout my major. I'm currently taking Calculus 3, and so far so good!

I like to build up from the foundations whenever I'm teaching. Usually it isn't the specific concept a student can't understand, but misconceptions of foundational concepts. So we'll assess where a thought process is going wrong and build from there. Although this is my general strategy every student is different and I believe the core of tutoring and teaching is tailoring to any one students needs. So ultimately my style is very flexible and I will work with the student towards achieving their goals.
